Grilled Onion and Swiss Flatbread

Welcome back grilling season with this easy grilled onion and swiss flatbread that is made for sharing. With just a handful of ingredients, minimal prep and mere minutes on the grill


- Flatbread rounds - Onions - Extra virgin olive oil - Kosher salt and pepper - Finlandia Swiss Cheese - Honey or honeycomb - Fresh thyme, minced - Chives, minced

1. Gather and prep your ingredients for grilled onion and Swiss flatbread.

2. Slice onions into rounds, brush with oil and season with salt and pepper.

3. Grill the onions until they are softened, browned and slightly charred.

4. Brush the flatbread with oil, season and grill on one side. Remove to a tray for topping.

5. Layer the toppings on the grilled side of the flatbread and grill until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Top the grilled flatbread with a sprinkle of chives and salt and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve immediately.
