Everyone's favorite appetizer, pigs in a blanket with a twist! Jumbo franks twisted in strips of puff pastry, melted cheese, and a sprinkle of seeds make it party ready!
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Roll the sheet of puff pastry on a floured board to roughly 10 x 12 inches.
Cut the puff pastry lengthwise into eight 1-inch strips.
Brush two strips with egg wash. Wrap one frank in 1 1/2 slices of cheddar cheese. Wind one strip around half of the frank. Repeat with the other strip. Repeat with the remaining franks and puff pastry strips.
Lay the the puff pastry wrapped franks on a lined baking sheet. Brush each of them liberally with egg wash and sprinkle the tops and sides with the seeds. Top with salt.
Chill the wrapped franks in the refrigeraror for at least 15 mins. Bake until puffed and golden, about 20 mins.
Slice each wrapped frannk into 5 pieces each. Serve with mustard if desired.
