Thai Turkey Burgers with Spicy Carrot Sauce

It’s time to turn up your grilling game with these Thai turkey burgers.

They’re bursting with bright flavors and slathered in a spicy carrot ginger sauce for the win.

– mayonnaise lite mayo – green curry paste – ground turkey or chicken – chives minced – lime zest – fish sauce – cilantro minced – fresh mint minced – grated fresh ginger – Sriracha – salt

INGREDIENTS

Thai Turkey Burgers

- ground black pepper – Brioche or kaiser buns – Optional toppings: coleslaw butter lettuce, pickled jalapeños, sliced cucumbers or butter pickles– baking soda

Spicy Carrot Ginger Sauce – carrots – ginger – water – kosher salt – heavy cream – unsalted butter cold – Sriracha

Combine carrots, ginger, water and salt in a small saucepan.

Step 1

Uncover, add the cream and blend with an immersion blender.

Step 2

Continue blending and add the butter one tablespoon at a time, blending after each addition.

Step 3

Mix in the sriracha.

Step 4

Whisk together the mayonnaise with the curry paste.

Step 5

Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix together with your hands or a wooden spoon until well combined.

Step 6

Form into patties and chill while the grill heats up.

Step 7

Serve on a brioche bun with the carrot sauce and your favorite toppings.
