Banana Bread

This classic banana bread recipe is a family favorite, impossibly moist with a crunchy crust and loads of banana flavor.

INGREDIENTS

- Sugar - Light brown sugar - Butter - Eggs - Buttermilk - Banana - AP flour - Baking powder - Baking soda - Kosher salt - Cinnamon - Vanilla extract - Turbinado sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9x5x3 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream butter and both sugars with an electric mixer on med/high speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Combine mashed banana and buttermilk in a small bowl. Add banana mixture to creamed mixture and beat on medium speed until just combined, about 1 minute.

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon to the bowl and mix until just combined. Stir in vanilla, being careful not to over mix.
